Testimonials

“DeShara is absolutely wonderful to work with for a recent event. A colleague and I approached DeShara about a very vague idea we had for a virtual event. DeShara talked it through with us and helped us brainstorm and think through options. This led to an a virtual panel Louisville Alumni hosted in September: Maintaining Your Mental Health While Fighting for Social Justice. DeShara was one of our three alumni panelists. She was responsive before the event, and she brought great ideas and thoughts to the panel itself. The event was only an hour long, but it absolutely flew by, because it was honestly fantastic. I loved working with DeShara on this event and hope to work with her on future events.”

Amanda James, MEd - Assistant Director of Young Alumni & Student Philanthropy, University of Louisville

“DeShara is a phenomenal leader in our community and was extremely knowledgeable on a recent Lean in Louisville panel. Her expertise shined through her presentation, and she was an upbeat and enthusiastic addition to our speakers. Her energy was contagious and anytime I have the opportunity to chat with DeShara, she brightens my day and teaches me something new. I adore DeShara’s fun loving attitude and thoughtful facilitation and appreciate the lens she brought to our topic.”

Aimee Jewell - Engagement Specialist, Leadership Louisville Center

“DeShara did a presentation on grief for our faculty, staff, and students at Ivy Tech Community College during the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the event, there was so much positive feedback, including some individuals who wanted to continue to have these discussions on a monthly basis. They also spoke about how much they appreciated DeShara's authenticity and transparency. Individuals who usually would not share, shared about their challenges because DeShara held space for them in a sincere way. Great job!”
